Let’s Go Green! Vegetarian Lunch and Sharing on Healthy and Compassionate Eating
Green and sustainable living has become a growing trend - green columns and programmes are found in newspapers, magazines, and on television. One of the many actions to go green is to consume less meat in our diets.

In this lunchtime sharing session, guest speakers are invited to discuss the issues of eco-friendly lifestyles and the health benefits of vegetarian or vegan diets. Catering outlets on campus are also invited to serve vegetarian food and drinks, free of charge.

Please bring your own eating utensils and a bottle for your drinks to the event. NO utensils and disposables will be provided. HKU GE brought in Green Monday as their first University Partner in March 2013. Since then, this free vegetarian food tasting has become our annual ‘green’ highlight.
